As I am sitting here and thinking about how one can always respond to energy so profoundly when connected to the Source, I feel like I should go deeper into the mechanisms of how the blessings of Mother Nature and the wisdom of the body may be acquired and felt within, perhaps by sharing some of the experiences I had with the plant wisdom when I was in Peru. (Ahhh Peru!)
Peru had always called me and have always been a part of my spiritual journey as I knew I had to go there at some point in my life (ever since I was 8!) to collect the missing pieces and activate the imprints of old memories and wisdom from another time.
I was not surprised when the flood of emotions, memories and the knowledge I thought I had forgotten but always have been there came to surface. One of the gifts I received when I was there was to understand and experience the existence of Spirit in nature and in abundance.
Shamanic Ceremonies often involve merging with plant medicine, to give one expanded sense of SELF and to help connect each individual with the Universal Truth that exists within. I have been very fortunate to know and work with two powerful shamans who took us on a journey to discover the hidden parts of the big picture and to provide us with a portal, to journey into the Universal knowledge. As the keepers of this sacred medicine, they carefully prepared and honored the Spirit known as San Pedro before guiding us down to Rabbit Hole and providing an opening in time for us to re-claim what has always been ours ~ TRUTH.

In the days leading up to the ceremony I didn't quite know what to expect and I wasn't so sure how I was going to be received by this plant medicine. I had read that the experience of the journey could be either heavenly, or so horrifying that some described it as an absolute hellish journey to make them wish they were dead! Needless to say I was a little nervous. So I decided to make a conscious intent and connect to the Spirit of the plant, to get to know it and to introduce myself and my intent. I figured once I got to FEEL the essence I could surrender with ease and decide whether or not it was something I wanted to experience for myself.
That's all it took. Conscious intent. The next thing I knew I was hanging out with the Spirit of San Pedro during the two days in my dream-time leading up to the ceremony. He was gentle, friendly, compassionate and loving. I told him in the dreams of my worries, talked about my fears, and asked him if he could be gentle with me and show me the truth in a way that would be comfortable. He nodded, put his arms around me before he disappeared into the night. I felt so grateful and relieved that MY WISH was heard and I would be honored. I had made contact with San Pedro and became buddies with him before introduced in the flesh!

This amazing and sacred connection immediately took away my fears and doubt. I felt I could fully trust and surrender to the knowledge of the plant to take me to exactly where I needed to be. I had already bonded with San Pedro and knew that he would only show me what I was prepared to see. When we were offered the concoction to drink, because of its unusual taste, some had a hard time to drink it, but I had already met my friend and I was determined to receive him as gracefully as he had received me. I drank the essence without taking a breath, like I had found the potion to immortality, with absolute thirst and commitment. I had now merged with my friend, he was within me; we were ONE.
I got blessed and received the GIFT of San Pedro. Unlike others' experience, my journey turned out to be incredibly gentle, outstanding, and an amazingly moving experience. The life, light, and the love I felt in such simplicity and clarity brought me an experience of UNITY and confirmed the affinity and the connection I had with my friend; the TEACHER. Everything stood still, colors took their true tones, I heard many of the songs of Mother Nature and touched Truth with my own two hands. My soul cried with joy, deep gratitude and feelings of bliss.
I have transformed myself into the Wise Woman I have always been, and re-membered what I always knew but had forgotten. We are ONE. We are always connected in LOVE, and INTENT is the activator of all.

You will know the TRUTH in your heart when you see it, smell it and hear it with your soul.
